When we sees the mountains towering and the moon spreading its light over a wider expanse, we realize that the sea of knowledge has no boundaries. This semester, the Junior High School Department of the east campus welcomed special "gardeners" - parents and friends from each class, who put aside their daily busy work and devoted themselves to preparing lessons, showcasing their various talents, presenting legal knowledge, scientific mysteries, light and shadow art, and industry experiences to the children. The rich and interesting cross-disciplinary classes accompanied the students through the blooming spring and the chirping summer.
To start with, beauty lies in the everyday; it takes an eye to discover and a heart to feel. Parents skilled in photography and dance brought a relaxed and fun art class, introducing students to light and shadow composition and practical life tips. Accompanied by music, they guided the students through gentle movements, helping them feel the rhythm. Through the lens, everyone captured ordinary moments; through movement, they released their inner emotions. Gradually, they learned to discover the tenderness and beauty in everyday life, enriching their hearts.
Moreover, science is hidden in every aspect of life, and only through practice can we truly understand its principles. Parents with professional expertise transformed into science educators, sharing knowledge on water conservation, mathematical thinking, and health protection, who vividly broke down the entire wastewater treatment process, turning complex scientific concepts into engaging and accessible content, allowing students to directly experience the fun and power of science. Also, by using everyday scenarios to explain mathematical models, they helped strengthen students' logical reasoning skills. Besides, through health education, they shared practical tips for daily protection, guiding students toward healthy routines and lifestyles, spreading positive energy and well-being.
Last but not the least, expanding one's horizons and enriching the inner self, the humanistic heritage accumulates the power to move forward. Specifically, parents, based on their respective industries, guide the students to broaden their horizons and see the vast world, instructing students to study the easy-to-understand Confucian classics, thus allowing everyone to be immersed in the long-standing traditional culture; more remarkably, they share their struggles and experiences, using the story of "Never Giving Up" to convey the spirit of facing difficulties head-on among the young people; additionally, they integrate legal rules and safety knowledge into the growth education, achieving both internal and external improvement, which not only broadens students' vision and scope but also builds a solid foundation for safety on the journey of youth.
